Kimchi Dumpling

Ingredients: Serves 4-5 servings

1 cup Jinmi Kimchi

½ pound ground beef brisket, pork belly or pork shoulder

1 teaspoon minced ginger

1 tablespoon sugar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 ounces sweet potato starch noodles cooked and chopped

1 cup of minced onion

1½ cups of chopped chives

⅓ cup crushed medium firm tofu

salt to taste

24-30 dumpling wraps


For dipping sauce:

2 tablespoon of soy sauce

1 tablespoon of white vinegar

1/3 chopped onion

1 minced green chili

1 teaspoon of sugar (optional)


Boil for 7-8 minutes the sweet potato noodles. Mix all chopped ingredients in a bowl. Spoon filling into the wrapper and make dumplings.

1) Steam for 7-10 minutes or pan fry them until golden brown. Serve warm.


Dipping sauce:

In a small dish mix soy sauce, white vinegar, onion, green chili pepper. Add 1 teaspoon sugar if desired.
